The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Judy Williams
Judy Williams and her husband founded Old Virginia Hand Hewn Log Homes, Inc. in 1981, and have been running a highly successful business ever since. In her day-to-day schedule that comes with leading a log home handcrafting company, she manages the office, deals with customers on a one to one basis, oversees sales, manufacturing, and shipping. She has been performing all these duties the entire time the business has been in operation. Today, it is 100% female owned, and the company has delivered log home packages to over 36 states, and even built a sauna in the Finis Embassy in Washington, DC.
Old Virginia Log Homes has prided themselves in the handcrafting of fine log homes and structures. No short cuts are taken in assuring that your home is the best that money can buy. Most of the craftsmen have been with the company for many years and five of them have been there since the beginning. Their experience is second to none, and their work speaks for itself.
Judy majored in Accounting and Business Management at Mountain Empire Community College, and put those skills to good use when starting her own business. She is affiliated with the NAHB, BBB, and TPI. Judy member of Small, Woman-and Minority-Owned (SWaM). Outside of work, she is a devoted wife, proud mother of four, grandmother of eight, and great grandmother of two. She loves spending her time with her loving family and friends. Her favorite pastimes include hunting, fishing, and reading. She lives in Pennington, Virginia.
