The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Jessica Hall

Jessica Hall is a Purchaser for SWS Warning Lights Inc., a manufacturing company located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Jessica has been the Purchaser there since February of 2011, however, they are a small company so she often wears many hats. Her tasks have gone beyond Purchasing, into Customs Compliance, a Data Specialist role – system integrity as well as reporting, and other various things that pop up.

Jessica started at SWS as a student in 2003, and believes that integrity, honesty and transparency are the most important aspects of supplier/customer relationships. Continuous improvement on a personal and professional level are both equally important for the growth and prosperity of SWS. Jessica and the team at SWS are currently enrolled and working towards certification in the leadership class of The Hero’s Journey (Darren Hardy). Jessica is happy to be part of such a strong team at SWS and believes that working together is the only road to long-term success.

Purchasing for SWS in the last couple of years has been challenging due to material constraints, logistical issues and increasing prices across multiple markets; Foreseeing issues ahead of time and proactively seeking resolutions, such as working closely with SWS’ design team, before material stock-outs, has helped SWS be able to carry on providing quality products to their customers. Consistently seeking cost savings wherever possible has helped SWS maintain current prices so they can continue to pass on those savings to their customers in a world where costs are increasing.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, camping, being with her family and children, enjoying some laughs with Kids In The Hall reruns and exploring the world of astrophysics.

Worldwide Women’s Association Member Jessica Hall can be found on the Association Directory, where she is looking forward to networking with you.
