The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Petra Serrarens
After arriving in New York City, Petra Serrarens has been Director of Programs and Communications at the European American Chamber of Commerce New York (EACCNY), a membership organization that drives business development, facilitates networking and fosters relationships between European and American businesses and professional organizations. She now continues her activities outside EACCNY, as a part-time NYC bike tour guide for Rolling Orange Bike Tours and as a part time stylist and sales person. Petra also takes on assignments as a communications consultant. She is a volunteer for World Central Kitchen.
After earning a MA in Communication from Fontys University of Applies Sciences, Petra went on to complete a MA in European Public relations from the Université Paris-Sorbonne. Dedicated to professional growth and development, she holds a PAO in Philanthropic Studies from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Petra is passionate about building strong teams and telling engaging, compelling stories. She has built her reputation on coaching and energizing teams, and is driven to serve organizations that help make the world a better place. She speaks English, Dutch, French, German, and basic Italian and Spanish and credits her success to adaptability, curious mind, and dedication.
