The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Allison Gardner-Adamovits, MSW, RSW


 
Allison Gardner-Adamovits is Certified Life Coach and Owner of The Worthiness Well, an online women’s life coaching practice offering Individual and group coaching services. With over 30 years of experience in counselling and mental health services, she draws upon expertise in therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and EMDR Therapy. Working closely with her clients, she has been dubbed a “courageous compassion expert” and helps empower women who feeling overwhelmed, confused, drained and stuck; enabling them to develop renewed self-worth, emotional balance, strength and security.
 
Additionally, Allison is also Psychotherapist and Owner of the Carleton Place Positive Change Centre, a clinic that has offered personal counselling, family mediation, conflict resolution, parenting strategies and grief/cancer counselling for more than 13 years. She has been invited as an expert speaker or visiting lecturer at various academic institutions and companies, and served as Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Counsellor for all four Hospitals in Lanark County. Additionally, the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario endorsed a contract with Allison, providing Quick Response Counselling to victims of crime in Lanark County.
 
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Carleton University, Allison returned to school, completing a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons) from Laurentian University and a Master of Social Work from Carleton University in 1999. She is certified in Therapeutic Family Mediation and Parenting Capacity Assessment by the University of Toronto, as well as in Level 1 in Collaborative Family Law (OCLF), Life Coach/Dream Builder (Brave Thinking Institute), and licensed as a Lay Worship Leader by the United Church of Canada.
 
In addition to being a valued member of the WWA, Allison is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social  Service Workers, Ontario Association of Social Workers, and Lanark County Collaborative Family Law Association.
