With a strong background in nonprofit organizations, fundraising, patient advocacy, and strategic leadership, Douglas has made a lasting impact in the field of liver health.
 
As a sought-after and successful Executive Director, Farrah Douglas has demonstrated exceptional skills in nonprofit management, fundraising, board and volunteer recruitment, event planning and execution, budget management, donor stewardship, and staff and volunteer training. Her expertise and strategic leadership have been instrumental in driving the mission and growth of the Liver Health Foundation.
 
In addition to her extensive professional experience, Farrah Douglas has served on the boards of several notable nonprofits, including Boys and Girls Clubs, the Rotary Foundation, Rotary Clubs, the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, the Aviara Community Fund, the Library Foundation, and Casa De Amparo, among others. She has also held government positions, including serving as a Planning Commissioner, Chair of the Planning Commission, and elected Council Member in Carlsbad, California.
 
With extensive training and experience in nonprofit and for-profit management, as well as advocacy for effective legislation, Douglas brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role at the Liver Health Foundation. Her exceptional leadership and commitment to making a difference in the lives of liver patients, caregivers, and medical professionals have earned her numerous awards, including the San Diego Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award and the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Award.
 
The Liver Health Foundation, a California-based 501(c)(3) organization, serves the Greater Los Angeles area, including the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Northern California. Their mission is to support liver patients, caregivers, and medical professionals by providing free webinars and seminars and offering updated and reliable information about liver diseases. The foundation’s Medical Advisory Council consists of trusted and renowned hepatologists from California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, and Northern California.
