Tatjana Rössler: Accomplished Sales Executive Driving Industrial and Manufacturing Excellence

Tatjana Rössler, a dynamic sales executive with a proven track record in the industrial and manufacturing sectors, is making waves with her expertise in sales strategy, negotiation, and market expansion. Currently a Senior Commercial Executive at Microsoft Österreich GmbH, Rössler has consistently demonstrated her ability to drive double-digit revenue growth, lead high-performing teams, and deliver impactful results.

Rössler’s extensive experience spans leading companies in the industrial industry, including Alstom, Mitsubishi, and Mondi/Europapier. Her passion for industrial products and manufacturing processes has fueled her desire to return to the sector, where she can leverage her unique blend of technical knowledge, strategic insights, and customer-centric sales leadership.

During her tenure at Microsoft, Rössler managed negotiations totaling hundreds of millions in revenue across 15 key clients, showcasing her ability to handle complex, high-stakes deals. Previously at Alstom, she negotiated rail projects with up to 20 clients, valued between €100 million and €500 million, further cementing her reputation as an expert in driving large-scale industrial partnerships.

Her leadership capabilities are equally impressive, having successfully led sales teams of 4–6 direct reports and interdisciplinary teams of 12–17 members. Rössler excels in fostering collaboration and aligning cross-functional efforts to achieve strategic goals, making her a standout leader in her field.

An advocate for innovation and growth, Rössler’s passion for market expansion is rooted in her academic foundation. She holds a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy in CEE from the Vienna University of Technology, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Karl-Franzens-University Graz. Her international perspective was further enriched through an Erasmus exchange program at the University of Valladolid in Spain.

Rössler’s research on renewable energy has also contributed to the field, as highlighted in her publication, “How to Increase the Competitiveness of the Austrian Photovoltaic Industry on a Global Scale,” which analyzes best practices from Japan, Spain, and Germany for application in Austria.
