The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Jennifer Watkins, PhD
Dr. Jennifer Watkins is an educational professional with years of experience in teaching English and history at the secondary school and university levels. Currently, she serves as Head of Sixth Form and history teacher for years 7-13 (Key Stage 3, GCSE, A-level) at Bales College, an independent secondary school in London. Passionate about history, Jennifer is dedicated to increasing student knowledge and the appreciation for historical study, while helping students meet and surpass their exam and educational goals.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in English and History, Jennifer went on to complete a Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in Medieval Studies from Cornell University. In addition to her work at Bales College, Jennifer volunteers as an Assistant Global Editor for the International College of Christian Ministries, where she tutors writing, provides editing services, and gives feedback and coaching to graduate students.
Jennifer credits her success to having exceptional organizational skills, the ability to learn anything quickly, and being able to convey large quantities of data in a clear and concise manner. She excels at executing plans and combines a meticulous attention to detail with clear grasp of “big picture” strategy.
Jennifer enjoys working with a variety of people, building key lasting relationships and partnerships.
