Melissa Morrow, MA is a values-based executive HR leader with a passion for helping organizations focus on what matters most. Melissa has a long history of helping organization navigate the HR landscape and solve wicked problems.  She is currently serving as the Executive Director of Human Resources Division for the Calgary Police Service.

Throughout her career, Melissa has lived and worked across Canada, often serving as the most senior HR professional on-site. Her extensive experience spans various industries, where she has excelled in generalist HR roles. Notably, she has held senior positions such as Vice President of HR at Trico Group of Companies, HR Director at Imperial Oil for Corporate Departments, and HR Manager at both XTO Energy and multiple divisions within Imperial Oil and ExxonMobil.

Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Leadership with a specialization in Executive Leadership from Royal Roads University. She earned a bilingual undergraduate degree in International Studies from York University and a post-graduate diploma in Human Resources from Seneca Polytechnic. Her professional certifications include Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coach Federation, Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), and Values-Based Leadership Certification (VBL).
