Yaren’s robust academic background is anchored in finance and economics. She earned a Master’s Degree in Capital Markets from the Banking & Insurance Institute at Marmara University (2010) and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Finance from the same institution (2005).

Professional Journey

Yaren launched her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2005, building expertise in global compliance and tax services. She advanced into leadership roles across industries such as telecommunications, retail, automotive and FMCG, demonstrating exceptional capabilities in financial operations, credit and risk management, and strategic leadership.

Currently, Yaren serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Signify (formerly Philips Lighting), overseeing financial operations for Türkiye, Caucasus, Central Asia, Rest of Middle East, and Pakistan. In this role, she manages eight subsidiaries with a revenue base exceeding €80 million, showcasing her adeptness in cross-border operations and international finance.

Her previous leadership positions include:

  • CFO for Signify Türkiye, Maghreb Export & French West Africa (2022-2024): Streamlined financial processes across four subsidiaries.
  • CFO at Zingat Real Estate Information Systems: Spearheaded the growth of a tech start-up, implementing financial controls and long-term business strategies.
  • Senior Finance Manager at Reckitt Benckiser Türkiye: Directed financial operations for Hygiene & Home and Health businesses while contributing to complex demerger projects and compliance initiatives.
  • Senior Manager of Accounting, Admin, and Non-Trade Procurement at Adidas Türkiye: Led critical transformation projects, including shared service center designs
  • Internal Control, Credit & Risk Manager at Volvo Group Trucks Türkiye: Executed complex risk assessments and compliance measures.
  • Senior Financial Analyst at Turkcell Telecommunication Systems: Pioneered fraud detection and mobile payment solutions, earning the CFO Special Award.
