Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Andie Andersen

Andie Andersen, originally from Upstate New York, made a courageous decision to relocate to the Denver Metro area amidst the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Presently, Andie serves as the Director of People & Operations at a dynamic bohemian-inspired Fashion Company situated in Colorado.
 
Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Marist College in 2012 and earning membership to the esteemed Alpha Chi National Honor Society, Andie obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Business Management, setting the stage for her professional journey.
 
With over 15 years of versatile experience across multifaceted roles, Andie excels in optimizing store operations, nurturing employee development, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. From startups to major corporations, her expertise lies in identifying growth opportunities, formulating strategic initiatives, and driving sales growth.
 
Throughout her career, Andie has spearheaded company-wide initiatives encompassing change management, business process optimization, and risk mitigation. As a dedicated B-Corp assessment owner, she has been a staunch advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, ensuring alignment with organizational values.
 
Beyond her professional pursuits, Andie is deeply committed to community service. Since 2021, she has volunteered with CHEER Colorado, a prominent LGBTQ+ nonprofit, contributing to fundraising efforts that have generated over $59,000 in the past two seasons. Additionally, as a devoted board member for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Pride Cheerleading Association, Andie works tirelessly to expand local support and resources for beneficiaries.
 
Excitingly, Andie is currently competing for the esteemed title of Miss Colorado for America Strong 2024. This endeavor underscores her dedication to promoting health, wellness, inclusion, and diversity within the Colorado LGBTQ+ community, fueling her passion for impactful initiatives that drive positive change.
